Text: Happy New year. 2025 was a year I'm truly grateful for. I promise to do my best so that 2026, too, becomes a year all you readers can have fun in. This is my 28th time greeting your from this page. How many more times will I have the pleasure...? I'll be wondering that as I try my hardest! I wish you all a nice year!

It's been a while. Time sure flies, and it's already volume 28. 2025 is over, and it's 2026 now. A lot happened in 2025 for Tougen Anki and it's become a year I'm grateful for. With the anime, live events, popups, collaborations and so on, this year felt like a dream. And all of it is thanks to your support. Allow me to express my gratitude once again: thank you! I believe it was announced already, but the anime is going to do the Nikkou arc. I'll be happy if you enjoy that arc. I participated in the day part of the event in Wakou city as the author, and I had a great time. It was a terrific event, with VAs's free talk and live performance and the visitors seemingly enjoying it all, and it made me so really really happy. I had the honor to get introduced to the VAs, and I'm very grateful to them for their kindness in dealing with me, a complete and obvious amateur at things like that. What was the most amazing though is when the day part was over and I came out to the streets, there were people participating in the evening part of the event, and I was shocked to find a long line at the spot that sold merchandise. I walked through the crowd of fans with a huge smile on my face, but in hindsight in their eyes I must have looked totally suspicious. Watching people line up their bags fully loaded with button pins and take photos was a truly rewarding experience for me as an artist. I would like to thank those of you who visited the event and assure those who didn't win the tickets that we'll be sure to hold another event like that again, so please come visit then. Let me reiterate once more how grateful I am to 2025. Please continue supporting Tougen Anki in 2026! I wish you all the best in 2026!
